Polycon, through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRDA), in conjunction with the Army Corps of Engineers developed a polymer composite micro-overlay product known as E-Krete. This product, along with the equipment that was necessarily developed for the successful application of the product, combined for application of a high-quality asphalt renovation program known as the Polymer Composite Micro-Overlay (PCMO). The PCMO is used in the repair and upgrade of existing deteriorated asphalt or concrete surfaces on airfield aprons, taxiways, secondary runways, roadways, bridge decks, and parking facilities.
