SONG DENG, P.E., C.B.C.P., R.E.P., C.E.A., C.M.V.P., formerly served as a Principal Investigator and an Associate Director of the Energy
Systems Lab at Texas A&M University, where he led dozens of researchers, engineers, technicians and graduate students implementing building commissioning
and retro-commissioning programs.Currently, as the Technical Advisor at Austin, TX-based Bee (Building energy efficiency, LLC, BeeUSA.com),
he consults and lectures worldwide in the scientific fields of building commissioning, energy efficiency, and intelligence.
Dr. W. DAN TURNER, Ph.D., P.E., is currently a Principal at Austin, TX-based Bee (Building energy efficiency, LLC, BeeUSA.com),
a company that specializes in new and existing building commissioning and building energy efficiency optimization. In 1985, Dr. Turner founded the
Energy Systems Lab at Texas A&M University, where he pioneered as an educator (Regents Fellow Professor and Undergraduate Dean of the Dwight Look
College of Engineering) and the lead Principal Investigator of the building Retro-Commissioning (RCx) process, which has been implemented in over 500
buildings worldwide, resulting in excess of $150 million in on-going energy savings. Dr. Turner is a BCA Benner Award recipient and an AEE Hall of
Fame Inductee, and has published widely on the topics of building commissioning and energy efficiency.
