Wade Willatt joined Nissan in July 2016 as a Senior Energy Engineer at the Smyrna, TN Assembly Plant. Wade has expert knowledge in ISO 50001 and Superior Energy Performance as a Certified Practitioner in EnMS and SEP Performance Verifier.€He led the transition from a single-site ISO 50001 Energy Management System at the Smyrna plant to an Enterprise-wide EnMS that includes all 3 U.S. manufacturing sites. Wade is responsible for managing the Smyrna Utilities budget and developing action plans in order to achieve reduction goals related to the Nissan Green Program, ENERGY STAR, and Better Plants Challenge. Wade previously spent six years with Schneider Electric as a Facilities Manager and Senior Project Engineer and one year with Ameresco as an Associate Project Engineer with responsibility for performing energy analysis on various mechanical systems and processes in the industry.€Wade has a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Systems and a major in Mathematics, both from Syracuse University.€ Wade also has a Professional MBA from North Carolina State University. Wade is a Professional Engineer (Texas) and Certified Energy Manager.
