Enio Kato

Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) is a well-known mechanism all over the World but its implementation differs from country to country. In Brazil, although a prominent progress in recent years and a certain presence of ESCOs for decades, the model still suffers to evolve to a mature market. The paper presents a perspective of local applicability of Energy Services that support EPC and how each of such services influence the overall development of EPC, besides its financial and institutional components.
