John Fetters is an accomplished electronics engineer with a special expertise in energy-effective lighting. He received his electronics engineering degree from Cleveland State University, and an Energy Management Diploma from the University of Wisconsin. He is a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional and a Certified Energy Auditor. John is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA) and is currently a member of the “Visual Effects of Lamp Spectral Distribution” committee and an advisory member of the “Industrial Lighting Committee.”
John has presented seminars and technical sessions at major conferences, including Energy Education, Energy Exchange (formerly GovEnergy), LIGHTFAIR International, NALMCO conferences, and the WEEC. He has been a regular guest lecturer for the University of Wisconsin, teaching the lighting section of the “Fundamentals of Energy Auditing" EPD course and currently teaches “Performing Building Lighting Audits: Getting Ready for LED/SSL. He recently completed 4 video modules for Cenergistic for use in their in-house online training. John is a an approved instructor in the Building Operator Certification Program, teaching BOC 1003 – “Basics of Energy Efficient Lighting”
