Robert Wall Jr. (University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff) and Sterling Miller (Performance Services) will share the steps that University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff took to assess their facility situation, select a provider, identify priorities, choose creative solutions, finance their improvements and plans to guarantee future savings.The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff performance contract is worth $19.3 million which is the largest of its kind completed under the Arkansas Energy Performance Contracting (AEPC) Program.This project impacts the university's energy usage by 32% and provides an annual guaranteed savings of $717,635.The project includes: 1) LED lighting upgrades, 2) Installed low flow water devices, 2) Improved building envelopes, 3) implement sub-meters to track real-time energy usage, 4) Improved HVAC infrastructure and building control automation, and 5) Added a 321 KW photo-voltaic solar array that will rank as the largest public solar array to date in Arkansas.
