Elizabeth Dutrow leads the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR program for industry, a voluntary partnership with manufacturers to improve energy efficiency across operations.Her design for engaging industries in ENERGY STAR and for securing the high level attention necessary for corporate energy programs to succeed has enabled over 750 corporations to build productive energy management programs.
Through Ms. Dutrow’s efforts, major industries are actively engaged in energy management with ENERGY STAR.As a result, many of these industries are able to nationally benchmark their plants’ energy performance and identify opportunities for energy improvement.
Ms. Dutrow has a degree in chemistry and is a Certified Energy Manager.
