Steve is the Corporate Energy Manager at 3M and has the responsibility for managing 3M's global energy management program which includes improving the energy performance of more than two-hundred and fifty 3M locations around the world.His role includes strategic planning, development and implementation of programs and tools to achieve corporate goals, and oversight of corporate data tracking and measurement systems.

Steve led the effort for 3M to become certified at the Enterprise level to the Management System for Energy ISO 50001, and has championed the effort for numerous global 3M locations to achieve ISO 500001 and Superior Energy Performance certification.

Steve coordinates 3M's participation in various voluntary programs such as the EPA ENERGY STAR™ program, which has awarded 3M the Sustained Excellence award for Energy Management a record ten consecutive years, and the U.S. Department of Energy Better Buildings program.

Steve is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers, a Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems – Industrial, and a Superior Energy Performance Verifier – Industrial.He was named a Champion of Energy Efficiency by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy.
