Brenda Phillips
Sain Engineering Associates, Inc.

Brenda Phillips is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Sain Engineering Associates, Inc., a global energy consulting firm with a variety of energy services offered including commissioning, resiliency planning, auditing, and resource efficiency management. Brenda has over 32 years of professional experience in a leadership role that combines the disciplines of architecture, program management, energy engineering and building commissioning. Brenda is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a Bachelor of Architecture Design. Early in her career, she was awarded the Construction Management Project Achievement Founder’s Award for project management on the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. In 2016, she was recognized with the Alabama Environmental Council Conservation Award for the energy conservation effort on a community college campus. She is an active speaker at various energy focused conferences and also participates in the Association of Energy Engineers, American Institute of Architects and is a volunteer locally for Habitat for Humanity as well as Junior Achievement.
