Michael G. Masny, P.E., C.E.M. is a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at CHA, a full service engineering and construction management firm that provides services to clients throughout North America. He is the section manager for the mechanical energy group. He has over 13 years of experience in working with facilities to reduce their energy consumption through identifying energy conservation measures and evaluating their savings. He also provides mechanical design for the improvements proposed from the evaluations. Michael is part of CHA’s 3rd party technical review services team, and has been measuring and verifying savings achieved on energy projects throughout New York State since 2007.
Mr. Masny, who received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State. He is a Certified Energy Manager and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Andrew J. Geoghan is a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Garlock Sealing Technologies, a global leader in high-performance fluid sealing products that serve a wide industry range of chemical, power generation, semiconductor, food and pharmaceuticals, and mining. His main responsibility is the refinement and preservation of building infrastructure along with energy efficiency and energy reduction efforts at the R&D and manufacturing headquarters.He has over 21 years of experience in manufacturing, machine design, energy management and utility generation, distribution and control.
Mr. Geoghan received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University. He presented at WEEC in 2016 and 2017,is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers and is working towards his PE license as he currently works as an EIT.
