Due to competing priorities in today’s industrial facilities, the successful development of energy projects requires careful review during the early phases to be properly prioritized in the facility project portfolio. The early phases of successful energy projects are supported by a careful review of new and alternative technologies, evaluation of multiple drivers, long-term point of view on asset lifecycle strategy, and marginal economics on incremental investment to drive overall energy efficiency. This presentation will present examples of the development and justification for several energy projects that were successful using this methodology.
