Energy & Infrastructure Cost Savings Go Hand-in-Hand

Mark Neihaus, P.E.
Global Energy Engineer

Due to market and competitive uncertainties, energy projects at industrial facilities typically require much shorter payback time than a similar project in government or educational facilities. Therefore, multiple key drivers are typically required to get an energy reduction project approved. This presentation will review energy programs at two industrial sites that resulted in energy cost reduction, maintenance cost reduction, sustaining capital reduction, and labor cost savings

Mark has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has 33 years of experience in industrial energy systems. His experience includes steam systems, boilers, compressed air, chilled water, HVAC, and high temperature heat transfer fluid systems. He is currently a Global Energy Engineer with INVISTA, providing energy management, and utilities project, operations, and reliability support, to nine industrial sites in the INVISTA Performance Solutions business unit.
