“It is necessary to develop the technologies of massive energy storage for the correct evolution of intelligent energy networks. There are only two forms of massive energy storage that have large storage capacities, compressed air storage and hydraulic storage. In this article, a methodology for the storage of compressed air in carbonate reservoirs is proposed and the behavior of a plant of these characteristics is simulated by ASPEN.”
